We specialize in Goldendoodles and poodles. All our puppies and parent dogs live with us in our home. They are cherished family members and are treated with care and respect. We are not a puppy mill. We take personal care and satisfaction is raising and caring for our dogs and puppies. Our hope is you will receive a puppy that will be a forever pet, companion and friend.

What do you get with your new puppy?

​

Each puppy with have up-to-date vaccinations, records and vet visit records. Puppies will come home with a blanket that has momma dog's scent, a puppy toy, small baggie of puppy food, puppy vet records and a puppy collar.

Have your puppies seen a licensed veterinarian?

 

Every puppy is thoroughly evaluated by a licensed veterinarian physician. Our puppies will have a clean bill of health.

Will puppies have up-to-date vaccinations?

​

Yes, each puppy will be vaccinated at 8 weeks with DAPP Vaccination (Distemper Vaccine). This vaccine protects against Canine Distemper Virus, Canine Adenovirus types 1 & 2, Canine Parainfluenza Virus, & Canine Parvovirus.

 

Have you done genetic testing on parent dogs?

Yes, our parent dogs have gone through genetic testing and we ensure our puppies will have a clean bill of health. Records and documentation will be provided upon request.

Are parent dogs AKC registered?

​

Yes, our parent dogs are AKC registered except Fofa, who as a Goldendoodle cannot be. 

 

What training will the puppies have undergone?

 

We provide recommended Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) training, which includes tactile training and scent training. This allows the puppy to get accustomed to being handled by humans and introduced to different smells. Typically this training starts at an early age. Additionally, we start the process of kennel training and potty training.

I live out of state, can I get a puppy?

​

Yes, we can make accommodations to connect via video chat and have a webcam.

Desert Born Kennels is based out of San Tan Valley, AZ. We proudly serve the East Valley, including Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe and Phoenix and throughout the greater phoenix area. We can provide travel accommodations based on specific needs. Let us work with you.
